Looking for feed addicts; trawlr.com reloaded!

I’ve been busy working on some major changes to my main Rails project, trawlr, an online rss agregator. In fact, I’ve almost entirely rewritten the UI to use the new RESTful Rails features and have overthrown the look entirely (here’s a shot of the original version). The new interface has been inspired by Google Reader, yet it aims to be clearer to read and a bit quicker.

Why am I trying to pimp it out now? Well I’ve just finished getting it up and running on a VPS (from Slicehost – more details on that in a later post) so it’s ready to roll.

Some of the features of trawlr:

  • River-of-news style view with infinite scrolling
  • Expanded or collapsed viewing style
  • Mark your favourite feeds and favourite items plus you can also share items – all with their individual RSS feeds
  • Import feeds via an opml file
  • Feed tagging

Here’s the RSS feeds marked as shared items.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
